Renewable Energy Solutions is a division of Eddisbury Construction Company Limited, set up to add value to new and existing customers homes and businesses by installing Solar Panels to provide cheaper hot water. These solar panels collect radiation from the Sun and harness this energy source to heat water.

A popular misconception is that the Sun has to be shining for the panels to work. This is not true as it is radiation from the sun that is harnessed, not sunlight. The UK and Ireland receive more than enough solar radiation to make a solar hot water system a viable prospect. We receive about 65% of the solar radiation levels experienced in Spain, and about 55% of that at the equator.

Solar Hot Water Systems Installation Requirements

Solar water heating systems use heat from the sun to work alongside your conventional water heater. The technology is well developed with a large choice of equipment to suit many applications, including both home and business.

A typical domestic solar hot water installation requires the replacement of the hot water cylinder, installation of a pump station, control unit and of course the solar collectors (panels). The installation process involves us visiting your premises to conduct a survey. We will be able to offer our customers a range of collectors (both flat plate and evacuated tube), a range of hot water cylinders (120L - 320L, pressurised or unpressurised), plus different installation options without going to several suppliers. We provide all the additional required components and documentation of the solar hot water system to complete a typical installation.

Our solar installation kits use pre insulated flexible piping with simple connections, no need for dangerous brazing or complicated copper pipe work. For ease of installation all our solar hot water systems are delivered as complete tailored kits for each customer with either flat plate or evacuated tube collectors, hot water cylinder, pump station, control unit, flexible piping etc. Even all the nuts, bolts, fixings and documentation required to complete an entire installation are included.
